2020 Entrepreneurial Workshop Series - The Business Owner and the Banker
This workshop is for someone just starting a business or an existing business owner wanting to obtain a loan.
An experienced banker will explain how a good relationship between a business owner and the banker can be a big help when you need financial support.
There are differences between consumer borrowing and business borrowing. Loan amortization, balloon loans, fixed and variable interest rates, lines of credit, collateral, and appraisals are just some of the topics that will be covered.
The importance of a budget and how good or bad credit can affect your business is another area that will be discussed. Do you know your FICO score and what it means? Do you know how to set up a business credit card and your responsibilities to keep your customer’s information safe? How important is it to have a separate business checking account?
Plenty of time will be available for questions and answers. There is no cost to attend this workshop.
