Our History
Vilas County Economic Development Corporation grew out the Vilas County Board’s Economic Development Committee formed in May 2008.
The Vilas County Economic Development Corporation (VCEDC) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that supports current and new business, entrepreneurs, and remote workers with business planning, financial guidance, marketing/social media, and more.
Our volunteer working Board of Directors is composed of corporate CEOs from on a local, regional and national level, as well as area business leaders with business, financial, higher education, broadband, and healthcare backgrounds, to name several areas. All of our services are free of charge.
We are putting Vilas County 'on the map' as a broadband destination to live and work successfully in our beautiful and welcoming Northwoods environment.
